"Your life is hid with Christ in God" Col.3:3

Peace Be With You!
You have alighted on the home page of St. Clement of Alexandria Liberal Catholic Church, serving Collin County and the Dallas Metroplex. We are a parish of the Liberal Catholic Church International, an Independent (non-Roman), autocephalous Catholic body, whose Apostolic Succession stems from the Old Catholic movement in Holland. We are 'liberal' because we are free to use our minds; we are 'catholic' because we hold to the ancient tradition of Christian worship handed down by the Apostles.

Our worship is traditional (think 'pre-Vatican II'), yet open to all seekers, reflecting an attitude of mystical devotion to the Holy Trinity as well as a profound respect for humanity, made in the image of God. Those desiring the Catholic sacraments, searching for spiritual insight, and seeking fellowship with like-minded souls will find here a haven of peace and a sanctuary for regeneration in the midst of an increasingly fragmented, uncharitable, and chaotic world.

We do not claim to have all the answers, for the Church is not a static museum but an organic reality, ever vital and ever evolving. Instead, we try to provide a place where reverent worship may lead one forward into ever deepening awe, ever greater service in Christ. Our members range in their focus--from the orthodox to the esoteric. We erect no barriers to Christ's altar. If you hunger or thirst, come.
The Liturgy of the Holy Eucharist (Mass): Sundays @ 11am

We celebrate the Holy Eucharist and offer open communion every Sunday in our chapel located in the Allen Executive Suites, 202 North Allen Drive, Suite E-114 (across the street from the Allen Public Library). Please click on the "Calendar" button to the left for other services.

Collect for St. Clement of Alexandria

O God of unsearchable mystery, who didst lead Clement of Alexandria to find in ancient philosophy a path to knowledge of thy Word: Grant that thy Church may recognize true wisdom, wherever it is found, knowing that wisdom cometh forth from thee and leadeth back to thee; through our Teacher Jesus Christ, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen.
